Who We Are
We are a small team of multi-skilled engineers with specialist knowledge of installing and maintaining data communication systems deployed on large scale ground mounted solar farms and battery storage facilities across the UK.
We are well versed in modern industrial communication protocols, have acquired specialist software and hardware tools to help quickly identify and resolve faults and to this date, have helped several major operation and maintenance providers, on many different ground mounted solar farms across the UK, to maintain and upgrade their device connectivity solutions.
What we do
How we Do it
Industry 4.0, M2M, Machine2Machine, Industrial Internet of Things, IoT. These are terms to losely describe the same thing, connecting physical devices on site to the virtual world or cloud. In the renewable world, this directly converts to connecting inverters, string combiner boxes, pyranometers, weather stations to your monitoring or SCADA portal/platform.
We specialise in connecting and integrating all types of data communications equipment and data acquisition sensors. We can help specify, install, configure, and commission all makes and models of hardware typically found on renewable energy plants within the UK. We can also troubleshoot your existing installation if not functioning correctly.
Using a combination of remote diagnosis and on-site surveying, we will identify faulty or incorrectly configured hardware and either rectify whilst on-site or return later to rectify.
Having worked on many different ground mounted solar farms, utilising different monitoring platforms and hardware solutions across the UK, gives us a unique insight into what works well and what doesn’t.
