KellyGraham were approached by Ardexa to help support a UK client with requirements to procure, install, configure and commission a system to help independently monitor high voltage switch positions and alarms for a new battery energy storage system being built in the UK. KellyGraham helped the client specify and procure suitable hardware to monitor the required switch position and alarm signals via a 4G router connection, 3 x digital input modules and an ambient enclosure temp sensor. The Ardexa data acquisition system was pre-loaded on to an Advantech UNO IPC. Once the hardware was installed and configured and data was populating through to the Ardexa cloud, dashboards were then created to visualise the data for the client. Email alerts were also configured to inform of a change in state of various switch positions. VPN connectivity was also provided from the Ardexa platform.
